"We came in 4 for lunch, directed to a private room with a dedicated chef and a caring attendee. We took GARBERA sets. The food served by the chef, prepared nicely in front of us. The food was excellent especially "cawan musi", the steak, and the dessert. It has a very nice ambience and unique seating. Overall, good experience but very pricey..., if the size is doubled, then all is fine..."

"It’s a high end refine teppanyaki resturant. The ingredients is extremely fresh and delicious. The cutlery is extremely exquisite. Their service is top notch. "Good place to enjoy comforting steak dinner. The first course was a cold and sweet pumpkin soup. The 2nd course was foie gras and it was cooked perfectly. Third dish was mushroom. It feels good and light after foie gras which feels quiet heavy. The 4th dish was optional between fish and scallop. The fifth dish was sirloin steak. Let me tell you this, the beef really melted in my tounge. It was accompanied with fried garlic and condiment sauce for dipping and wasabi. I recommend a bit of salt, wasabi, and the garlic soy sauce. Lastly but not least, it was an optional between fried rice and garlic rice. I picked the fried rice and it was excellent. Very pleasant experience and definitely a good memory."

"Such a fine experience when i visited Ebeya! Most hotels in Jakarta have this kind of private Japanese tepanyaki dining, but i have to say that this is my favorite! "I recently visited Ebeya Steak House at the Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta, with high expectations for a premium Japanese teppanyaki experience. The setting is beautiful and refined, and the quality of the food absolutely lives up to its reputation The Wagyu beef was tender and flavorful, and the seafood options (lobster and scallops in our case) were fresh and well-prepared. While the service staff were attentive and professional, the teppanyaki chef unfortunately did not engage with us at all during the meal. I was hoping for a bit of entertainment or interaction — especially since I brought my kids along, who were excited to see some classic teppanyaki “hacks” or tricks. There was no conversation, no showmanship, and the cooking felt more like a silent process than an experience. For the price point and setting, I expected a more lively or interactive vibe. Ebeya is definitely on the higher end especially if you’re ordering premium Wagyu and seafood. That’s fine if you’re getting both great food and a memorable experience, but in our case, it felt like something was missing"
